Get Involved!

  • Here are two ways to be a part of the art:

    One:

We call all our fundraising events “Desmadres.” It means ‘shit storm’ in Spanish, but it can also be used to describe chaos. Adrian loved this word. He even called his solo show, “Un Petit Desmadre.” In the spirit of Adrian, we expect all of our events to have that element of sublime and playful chaos, which Adrian liked so much. Music! Dance! Comedy! Unexpected Surprises! Anvils falling from the sky! Desmadre!

We welcome you to plan and throw your own “Desmadre!” We only ask that you talk to us about it first, so that we can answer your questions, and send you promotional materials.

    Two:

April 27th is Adrian’s Birthday. To celebrate we have started “International Busking Day.” On this day we ask you to get out your hat tricks, your accordians, your rolla bollas, and perform your butts off in the streets! Whatever money you collect, send it to us! (You could keep it, but we’d prefer you send it to the fund instead.) It’s a simple and fun way to contribute at least once a year to the Adrian Cervantes Mejia Fund.
